Technology overload

One of the main objectives to taking this class was to learn of new technologies. The course was successful in introducing new technologies, but I wanted to take a longer period of time to learn more about each program. We learned about the use of blogs and wikis as part of the assignments, and using these programs in the lesson helped me understand the basics of each. However, I wanted to know more, but I didn't have the time. Luckily, we have a four week break before our next class, so that I can explore more of what I have learned. I can see how using the new programs in the classroom will be useful, but as a teacher I can understand why educators are so overwhelmed by the introduction of new programs in a short period of time. This gives me insight in planning my internship. In addition, I am interested in learning more about lessons that focus on student-centered learning for History classes.
